Project Statement
For my sweater collection project, I designed five original pieces and tested key techniques—cable knitting, lacework, and colorwork—through swatched samples. From initial sketches and concept exploration, I refined five final designs. As a culminating showcase, I hand-knitted the Niamh Cardigan in full, demonstrating both technical skill and design development from concept to finished garment.
